About Kristensson Spirits

Behind Kristensson Spirits is Henrik Kristensson – someone with a passion for flavour, whether in drinks, food or cigars.

It began with beer and the craft around it. The interest grew into cigars and new taste experiences, and from there into whisky, rum and wine.

Inspired by a few friends in the industry, I decided in 2020 to set up my own tax warehouse – so I could bring in spirits I enjoy and believe can become something special when they meet the casks I like and trust. The first casks were filled in 2022.

This was never meant to be large-scale. It is meant to be something else – for those who appreciate flavour and these drinks without any fuss.

We source newly distilled raw spirit and already aged spirit and refine it further. The focus is above all on characterful pot still spirits, but what matters most is always how the spirit and the cask work together.

The work is largely exploratory. A spirit can take an entirely new direction in a sherry cask, an old cognac cask or a cask that previously held fruit brandy. It is exactly those meetings that drive us: finding combinations that feel obvious only once you have tasted them.
